Essnowyt - the clear stuff is for the spool to reduce chattering/make it last longer. Apply it on the joint of each driveshaft where it makes contact with the spool and make sure to clean & grease it often but don't put too much grease.

Hey Guys,
I just built up my first Cyclone and I have to say that I am impressed. I have raced Tamiyas all of my life and they quality of them was always great. The Hotbodies continues that level of quality but also brings a number of good differences between the two.
However, the biggest negative is the lack of movement towards the spur on the motor mount. What is the biggest spur (64dp) that works on the Hotbodies Cyclone??
Thanks in advance.

I use the 110 when running the novak 4.5 brushless motor to get the gear ratio that I need (10.72 )

What is this cars best attribute?
I am in the market for a new car
It is between the HB Hara/Surikarn cyclone and the RDX at this moment.
What is so good about this car?
What effect does the centre oneway have on the cars handling, with
spool/front oneway.
Can you lock out the centre oneway.
Durability is it good.
Thankyou for any opinnions in advance

There are my opinions about the Surikarn. I have not drove an RDX
Come with the option for either a spool in the front or oneway, locked and one way pulleys, sways bars in the box. It shares parts with the pro4. You can work on the diffs and change spur really quickly. The car has been pretty durable. Two things ive come across:
The diff screw is a bit weak so I put in the recommended AE diff screw. The big thing is not over tightening it.
The aluminum cvds up front will bend under hard impact. Alot of guys are going to the ver2 steel ones up front. I have mine on order.
