Note the non-HPI shocks as well.
Remember this is a prototype car as well - AE used Losi parts on the TC3 when they were testing it, and Losi used TC3 parts on the XXX-S when they were testing that. Saving on mold costs is nothing new for TC prototyping.

Surakarn did sign for Hot Bodies not HPI when he left TRF so this could be his drive more than Hara's

The Pro 4 at the moment has, what, 4 for the rear part of the upper deck, 4 for the bulkhead, 1 or 2 for the shock, then you drop the upper aluminum bit that holds the rear input shaft, have to line up the shaft again, separate the shims correctly, etc.
Of course, I used to compare everything to the Pro 2 (2 screws was IT!) but I think from looking at the layshaft and diffs alone, this car will be easier to work on than most other cars out there right now.

Wrong - they are two separate companies, HPI doesn't own HB and vice versa.

The diffs. are clamped in remove a few screws and pop the diffs. out with out having to remove the bulkheads, priceless!!!
Same as the lay shaft, DIALED, when and where sign me up!!
The only problem I see is the upper deck, looks like a flexi flyer, may need thick or a more solid upper deck for the rug with foams????

2 screws on my RC Lab.... lol.
I realy don't understand the use of the cells down the one side on a belt drive, shaft, unless you go for mid mounted, you are stuck with that design, but belt.... it is far more versatile, and with cells generaly getting heavier and electrics getting lighter, you will end up with a completely off-set chassis.
Granted, the car is a lot simpler to work on than some 'other' belt drive cars.

The design on the easy access diffs and spur reminds me of the Team Osion Valkyrie and I was really hoping that Xray would have design the same but now that a new HPI is listening and new TC is on the works getting th FK05 might be put on hold at the moment...
