I think having a rubber tire class is a bad idea. European racers will come because of the competition. Not because they can race on rubber tires.

There are already so many classes, why add another?

I completly agree. So all the Europeans are going to be running rubber and all the Americans will be running foam?

There was talk about having all the Pro's race rubber and foam to see whos the best of both and then one True Carpet King can be crowned. But that was talk we will see what happens when it all plays out. The idea is a cool one I hope it does it would be nice to watch the best battle it out on both forms of tires.

I don't think you will get any Europeans that will run foam.

Running foam and rubber classes just makes it so nobody gets excluded. Some run rubber some run foam. The race is representing the world not just whats popular in the US.

I personally would like a rubber class simply because I'm a outdoor guy. I've never run foam carpet. I think running rubber would be a little lass of a drastic change. I may be wrong though.

I run both and rubber tires are a pain. Make a control tire and insert.

Jon, its an easier switch being a rubber outdoor guy going to foams than it is a foam carpet guy to rubber outdoor.

These are the kinds of things I wouldn't know not having the carpet experiance and not having anywhere near here to get that experiance. I think the closest carpet track is Stockton.

May need to run a class that requires the least amount of wrenching in order to partake in "extraciricular" activities.

All I can say is that I am soooooo happy that they are going to be running rubber.

The Euros run the rubber and so do all us guys from Cali too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see over 150 guys from the North Cali and South Cali go to this event because of the rubber tires.

The main reason I didnt do snowbirds was because everyone would be running foam and we run rubber out here and I enjoy it better. Easier and cheaper, plus more room for your setup being a factor.

Just my two cents, but we are pretty happy out here in California.

Buy premounted, CS27, CS22, it all you would probably need.

Once again take what I say as just a IMHO, H= Humble, i dont race foam on the carpet till i move up to Mod, but if places like this are going to offer mod rubber too, I would do it in a heart beat.

I like the control tire idea?

I will probably run this race reguardless, I also have no expierence on foam except in 1/10 pan car, and the foam tires are kinda why i dont do that anymore.

but hey always up for a challenge, a control tire would be great especially for that price, reguardless I'll be there it's Vegas.

and hey I'm all down for a racer poker tourney, but lets do somthing more reasonable like 60 doller buy in No re-buys, bounties on the pros is not a bad idea. Does the stardust even have a poker room yet???

If they seriously do, we should really work on setting up somthing for one of the days
