Default 19 turn motor

Like Rod I also used the 19 turn orion element. I had mine geared at a 5.98 (104/38). I broke in the brushes for about 40 mins then re-cut the comm. Then I used the Much More brush cutting tools to skim a little off the center of the brush (by using the smallest bit in the kit) so that the end points of the brush touch the comm first before the center. I then broke in the brush for another 30 to 40 mins. This produced excellent wrap on the brush. With this approach I used a tall gear (i.e. 5.9). The other approach I used was to time the brush using the Much More brush cutting tools as well and geared at 6.5. I was able to get the Orion from about 33K at 7.2 to 43K at 7.2 by timing the brush. It did not seem to matter which brushes I used, the results were the same with the reedy 767, orion sprint and the EA F brush.
