Most durable truggy
I'm in the market for a truggy, and want to know whats the most durable?
I have xray buggies and they are awesome but I was told the truggy is outdated and has diff issues.
I want durability first.
Mugen, xray,kyosho, hot bodies, serpent. I'm interested in all those truggies but am trying to get one that doesn't need to be repaired often, the most bulletproof.

If you are racing, all truggys need love. They are heavier and have a larger rotating mass. Parts just wear out faster. Me personally, from the list you provided, I would love the Kyosho but at almost a grand for the roller, I would pick the Serpent..... But I love my 8T 2.0....

I ran the Xray XT8 for a long time until I decided to drop that class. I never had a single diff issue with it or any of my buggies. It uses the same exact diff as the 808 and everyone knows those are rock solid.
I wouldn't consider it outdated either. Sure it's been unchanged since 09, but there's not much there to update. They have new shocks for the XB9, maybe try them on the XT8, but that's about it. It handles excellent and is one of the most durable trucks on the market. I got 2 1/2 seasons out of mine and it was still in great shape when I sold it.

I ran the d8 for 2 years anyone that knows me knows I do little mainenac aqnd I had no issues with the d8 except the cvd pins but that is fixable with the techno upgrade

i wanted the XT8, then was advised against it, and pointed towards the D8T, or the MBX6T.
Then my research said st-rr evo is great...i saw alot of people sell theyre mugens and sepents to try the kyosho, i guess that could just be contributed to curiousity more than superiority. I just want the most reliable truggie i can buy regardless of price (although that EVO is $$$)

The Serpent is right up there with Kyosho in terms of quality.
I haven't gotten a lot of run time on my cars yet, but so far both the buggy and truggy have held up great. Just went through both cars and only things that needed replacing were some wheel bearings.

serpent, losi and D8 take the abuse awesome durablity then AE and Kyosho next Mugen and other > only cuase of their arms if it wasnt an issue it would be with the first group. Well this is my pick other will say HELL NO

If the dang front arms weren't made of glass, I'd say Mugen. I've had some pretty nasty wrecks, and the only issue I've had is with the arms.
With that being said, I'd look at a Hot Bodies. One of my buddies raced a D8T, and that thing was a tank! Parts are very affordable, but you probably won't need much. He never had any breakage issues....too bad the same couldn't be said for flameouts! (If you read this, sorry Scott.... I had to bust your chops)
