Losi 4 cell battery pack is a bit expensive but kicks some major butt. To be honest I tried the venom and it didn't have the same punch as the Losi. It was my friends so I'm not sure if it was a little tired. Either way like Token mentioned. 4S over gel all day long. MUCH lighter and way more power.

I HIGHLY suggest a pack in the 3000-5000 range, Yes a 2200 or 2100 can get you through a Day or weekend of starting YOUR Car and YOUR car alone.
Problem Comes in when a Buddy might need to borrow the box. OR heaven forbid some Noobie Grabs your Box in Pit row thinking "I can make it work" And next thing you know your Battery's pooched and next time you use it Your left with a Puffed Disaster waiting to happen.
I also Suggest a Lipo Monitor of some sort on the Battery Itself. For the 5$ they are, There worth having plugged in for the peace of mind. I use the Maxpro Monitor.
