Hi all, I have a similar car, F104X1.
I want to ask: is it much better using a low profile servo ? does it really improves handling ?

If it is clean and everything as it should be, then close it until it is tight. Then open it 90 degree. From there on you can start adjusting on the track. You can go in 5 minute steps (clock scale) opening or closing as it is needed.
That is one strategy.

Try even smaller increments of loosening the diff. If it helps get a sharpie. Mark with "tick" marks. To the desired setting. When finished use some alcohol and rub away the marks. If that helps.

Another issue which may be influencing your car is the rear weight distribution. They do tend to be right rear heavy. So the left rear can be relatively light.
Try adding weight to the rear left side of the car, after you have checked your diff' for correct setting and operation.
By evening out the weight on the rear axle, you may find your able to run your diff' stiffer/ tighter with out spinning out.
Hope this helps.

As has been already mentioned. It is best to start with diff' settings as this could well solve your problem.

Hey, guys,
Recently got a f104 v2 pro used.
I have been playing TC, but F1 is entire new territory , and it doesn't seem to be discussed as often as TC.
I am just curious what is good baseline fdr for f1 with 25.5.
I have been doing a lot of search, but most of them seems to be talking about 21.5.
Btw, did Tamiya change the rule?
I remember 21.5 was what f1 was running, but did they slow it down?
