Im sick of those deans plugs, and what are those things that people use, where they have their wires with hard metal on the end and connect one to each end of the pack, where do you buy these? Online??

Corally style connectors??? There's a few companies that make them, I am in the process of switching from the ancient litespeed connectors I've been using since the 80's.... Speedtech has them as does Tower...

They are also refered to as bullet plugs and if you are going to go that route get the trinity ones they are the easiest to use. I used the Corrally for about three months and they irratated me becasue they would get stuck on the battery(great connection).
I switched to deans and just loved them but since I want to be competative and I now have a Hakko Solder station I have no excuse for not doing direct solder. It real only takes a second or two. If you don;t have a soldering iron GET ONE, other wise you are cooking those cells before you actually get the battery bars to stick.

Orion makes them too. The real problem with Deans is that both wires come together at the plug versus individual plugs like the euro/corrally style. Deans require more wire and thats not optimal in any instance

Depends where you put the deans plug...

You can put the plug at the esc/motor end to keep the wire run shorter..
