Default Brushless 1/8 scale Hyper 7

Not sure how many people here are into brushless. I converted my 1/8 scale Hyper 7 to all brushless. Loads of fun and power.

Wrote a full write-up on it in RCU Magazine:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=467

Here are some of the pics - let me know what everyone thinks. I love driving it. A lot more quiet and does not bug the neighbors. Has more acceleration that nitro but the same top end. If you change motors and # of batteries, then could get better top end. Me I just want to accelerate fast. Doing high 30's low 40's is more than enough for most any off road use.

Runtimes vary from 8 - 15 minutes depending on how hard you run it.

Thanks - First time doing it took a bit to figure out. But now to convert other ntiro RC's is not as hard as I originally thought.

Looks like something I'd like to try. How much did that brushless system cost?

I purchased the ESC and motor from: http://www.starluckrc.com

Just email Jamie and ask him for prices. On avaerage the 9918 runs $200 retail and the Fiegao motors vary from reseller to reseller. They are less than $100 though.
