By the time the new car hit your LHS it would be OCT, or NOV, 06.

Really?? That's funny....I had my FK05 within 2 weeks of they announced they were shipping...

I'll be pre-ordering my FK06/T2/whatever they call it as soon as an announcement is made...

They haven't steered me wrong yet, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one...

TRC's. Half their inventory is yellow, half is on black wheels. nice move on their part.

Gotta be careful when you order TRC or you'll end up with a mixmatch. I believe we show the wheels accurately on our site to reflect what compound foam is on what color wheel at any given time.

Looks like the new car will be the T2. Possibly available in mid December.

Burch told me they are not getting anymore shipments of FK05's. What's out there is out there. Next shipment will be the T2.

Can't wait!

Not to worry, there is not likely to be any kind of problem at all. We still stock all the "pillow ball" car parts, and that was how many cars ago?

I just checked, we stock 733 different XRAY part numbers (as of 11-29-2005), of which we have an 88% fill rate (this number changes daily both up and down, but is the average). This means of the 733 different parts, 88% of the items they advertise are availavble and in stock. This could be near 92% by Thursday, I see there is stuff in transit to us.

That's pretty good for a smaller company like RC America. We are lucky to see even 94% fill rates out of Associated or Losi.

Just a thought for XRAY. Why not release the newest car right away in the fall, say about August rahter than December (1/2 way through the indoor carpet season). That way, you have the new car for the ENTIRE carpet season, and you can then hammer it outside on the asphalt all summer after the indoor season. Just about the time you are thinking about heading indoors, BAMMO, there's the new car, just in time.

Who really wants to switch to a different car mid season?

just my .02

Great Idea Bob....

They might be trending that direction...sounds like they want the car to be available and legal for Stock and other classes for the Snowbirds and other races with it coming to market so early....

That's my biggest complaint with Xray's constant updates. I guess though, being a European country, that US carpet racers' needs aren't at the top of their list.

Still, I'm interested to see the new car.

Actually, that's pretty insightful. It's possible that we (North America) are the smaller part of their market. Making our needs secondary to the countries that are buying the most kits.

Makes a person wonder.
