The shocks come with 1, 2, 3, 4 hole pistons and they are ultra smooth. I have not seen if the xray ones are the same .... I would guess using same no holes and oil would be same on both types though. I use the same setup as I used to on the xray shocks and it feels similar.

There was a guy on this form that showed me how to mount them. I have my car tore down since asphalt is done here. I have some of the pictures he gave me if you pm me your email I can send you what I have.

Here is a pic of a mod to the impact absorbing lower brace that helps with minimizing chassis splits from front quarter panel hits.

Why do you even use that bumper? Just put a pdub bumper on the stock stuff and your good to go. Never split a chassis and dont break much either.

Well no offense GP but in how is that statement negative. I asked why anyone would use that bumper when its not needed. Especially since its splitting chassis apparently.

I am going to buy a pdub bumper after splitting my 2.5mm chassis. It did not take much of a crash to split the original chassis. Look on the bright side, now I can try the 2.0mm chassis.

Charles, I ran full speed into a 20 pound metal dot and the only thing that got damaged was one body post. The bumper had some damage too but was still usable. I have no doubt that I would have had to replace my chassis and front bulkheads if I didn't have that bumper . Well worth the $10
