Hi guys.
Yesterday I was able to make some dyno testing on X-Dyno (thanks to Brian Kinney for let us test).
We tryed different pipes, different engines, different settings. To make long story short, can tell you that VR12 pipe is deffenetly much better then evrything else we were running. It goes to pick of HP about 10% faster (earlier), make 5 % more HP and torq, max RPM is about 2% higher.
Verdict-the best pipe I have seen since I am in RC cars.
Will get one more as spare.

I want the best .12 pipe for for engine, the Mugen X-12.

I havnt read any of this thread but I hear Skyline pipes are the best,

where can I get one (link), how do they compare to the NovaMAX, Novarossi, Mugen, and RB pipes.

I need a one piece btw.

So, are these THE best?

Used the VR12 pipe on my stock Mugen X12 this weekend. Very impressed with the broad range of power. The motor seemed to be much smoother than with the RDLogics Turbo II pipe .

I bought a new reciever pack (800mah, MTX3) from them as well, that didn't do so well (didn't last my 25 min Amain) I'll try recharging it today and see what goes on with it.

DarkAngel, I had the same experience with the receiver pack on the first charge. The packs lasted 45 min. main on the next charge. I think the packs just false peaks on the first charge since it's been on the shelf and hasn't been cycled for a while. but that goes for almost every receiver pack.

So THIS is the best pipe for .12's?

It will be on my X-12.

I like the price, $60 is pretty good for a one piece, how does this pipe compare to Novarossi, RB, and Max one piece pipes which are usually $80-100,

The pipe you would want to get is this one...

http://www.skylinercracing.com/store/P_16.htm

It's one of the best pipes out there.

Thank you jwf_frani and C Verano,

So they are both legal exept the VR is better for the same price?

Alright, so if money wasnt an issue, you'd still take this pipe.

I dont want to spend a ton of cash on RB's or Novarossi pipes, this and the RD Logics pipe have an attractive price for a one piece.

I'll probably end up going with this one, not sure though.

I have a Rb concepts v12,, you think the this skyline pipe will work good with this engine? BTW I am running it with a STS pipe now, it has good top end but i think the bottom end is lacking alittle.

I Run an nova based engine also. REX rer and the VR12 seems to have pretty broad power band with that combo. If you need more bottom end you could try playing with your clutch adjustment.

Hey Kenny I showed up for my main. I could not figure out my fuel mileage issue until the fuel tank seal on my car broke in the E-main. My friend told me that it was probably bad all week end and thats why i couldn't finish the five minute qualifiers.

I think the pipe is starting to catch on in Texas. I even saw Ralph Burch running the pipe.

Anyway, thanks for all the support and help during the Nats.

Kent,

We at Maxy would like to thank you for all your support on and off the track. We had great success at the Nationals this week and would like to inform you that everything that you had sent to us, from the chassis, the pipes, and the rear shock towers were unbeleivably superb. Our O.S. engine was a lot faster and the chassis was very good. We came in second at the Sedan Nationals Master Class. These products are very good and would recommend Skyline to anyone that races.

Thank You Kent
