I generally see a bunch of agitated spastic facial movements but don't hear anything except screaming engines.. I don't have a regular one, so with the good ones I scrape together I hear my name then "TANKEN!!"(time to fill up..)

I hate when you set-up a pit strategy and the driver does not keep to it....

Driver: I want to pit at 8 mins.

Pitman: ok 8 mins.

at the 8 mins mark...

Pitman: come in the pits!!!!!!!!!!!

Driver acknowleges you, but drives by not paying attention to his fuel economy and get halfway through the track and flames out. Then get pissed at you for not hurrying up to get them bacc out.

Come on dude you did it to yourself.

my absolute favorite when you are on the stand driving and your pit guy yells up conversation starting questions, like "when do you want to come in for fuel" or "how do the tires feel, you think you can last all 45 minutes with them" ...

lol this thread rules.

I have one where the driver is doing good in a race and going through lap traffic. The driver get in to a bad accident with the lap traffic over a big jump and flames out. The pitman is loud guy in the pits saying OOOOOHHHHH!!!!! and talking to the guys around him about the accident and laughing, not paying attention to the fact his driver has flamed out. In this case it took the driver almost a minute to get his attention to get his azz out there to get the car. That day I never heard the F-bomb dropped that many times....

i have seen some stupid ish... hear another one....

Driver brings in his car hot and the pitman picks it up to fuel it. The driver is reving the motor to keep it lite while fueling and the pitman stops fueling and hold his arms out like he is turn marshalling. Once the driver stop he goes back to fueling and then drive revs it again. The pitman does the same thing again. The driver is like WTF. The driver stops reving the motor and the pitman completes fueling only to throw the car out and it flames out. The driver was pissed.

or
I seen a pitman have his driver come in for fuel and picks up the truggy, put the fuel gun in, squeeze the trigger, but forgot open the fuel door. Fuel all over the inside of the truggy and him...I laughed my azz off that day.....
