Default New Zealand Nationals Results

Hi all,
I just want to advise of my results over the weekend at the New Zealand on road national championships.

1/12th modified 1st A main (National championship win)
Used a 12L4 with none other than eXpress cells and Reedy motors

1/10th modified touring 2nd A main. After 40 laps of racing split over 2 races I missed winning by 0.2 of a second. Even though I won 2 of the 3 A final races. Our scoring is done on time, not points. I was very dissapointed. But I was the first New Zealander home. The winner was a visitor to our lovely country. One of the top drivers from Finland. I used a BMI TC4 with eXpress cells and Reedy Motors.

The eXpress cells I had were great. I never had any problems with run time unlike some of my competitors and because of that I was definately the quickest car out there in both classes. I also set new race and lap records in both classes. It was only slower traffic in the final race of touring modified that stopped me from winning it as well.

Man, only 0.2 sec after 10+ mins of racing. If only....

Nice run, Darren! That is a heartbreaker, though. Too bad about the qual points. It's one of those times you actually wish they were used. ;-)

When you coming to the States next?

You guys have a great trip and don't forget to keep me updated...

And don't let Larry rebuild his shocks after every round...if he starts to...just tell him to put the setup he thinks will work if he were to go out in his last main of the weekend...it seems to work well for him...
