Yoooooo...yeah, the new X1s are killer.
Got to run this weekend at Frederick, MD. Had a super cool time with all the gang: Robbie, Getchell, Reigle, Jr/Sr combo, Steve Walter, etc.
Good also to meet you too, Slotmachine. You have your TA05 (I think that's what it was) running great.
Had some bad luck in the quals (pinion problem 3rd round-doh!) but made the 'A'. Main was interesting...ended up finishing 7th, I believe.
Anyone know how Danny finished at the Gate?

Dan got knocked around early (qualified 2nd) and finished 5th or 6th, I think.
Some other goofy Express racer qualified 8th and finished 9th.

Between heats, I took his car back to the pits, swapped motor, battery, tractioned up his tires, and threw him right back out there.
It was a pretty impressive feat by Scott.

A couple more points regarding the Charity Race in Parkersburg, WV:
The club NORMALLY runs stock and 19turn (they call it modified) on FOAMS.
For these larger events, they require a minimum of 6 entries to make a class. They will be allowing stock and 19turn rubber if there are enough people for it.
Basically, if you're going to run 19turn rubber...bring friends and organize yourselves for 6 entries. There should be no problem getting 6 for stock rubber. As a backup plan, the 19turn rubber crew should bring along a stock motor, just in case.
For the stock class, they allow all the ROAR approved stock motors, and the Binary2 as well. Might want to ask about the Integy KOS.
