Anyway, yeah, I'm probably going to the Birds and the Nats as well. Not sure yet about Cleveland. Cleveland may be prestigious, but it's kind of a downer when you're there.

Gas prices stay like this you guys won't be kidding when you say your going flying because you won't have to drive far to find a small baseball type filed to fly in!!!!!!!!!!! 12 bucks to fill up my new bike. WTF is going on. I did get my new heli radio!!!!!!

Robbie retiring works great for me because I seem to get fast when I come out of retirement. If I do that about 10 times more I will be really fast.

While I have never been to the birds, I have been to the indoor champs twice and its not depressing at all, 20 degrees outside, snow, only a denny's to eat at across the street, 4 hours of sleep (although thats pretty much universal for a hotel or any race, lol) bunch of old drunk people wandering out of the bar...

Also snowbirds it has always been my impression that for stock the main is alot easier to make than cleveland, so you get a bit more return on your investment, also 19t sportsman.

BTW, no more 2 bed rooms left in cleveland, i called a week ago and got a kingsize with a foldout couch.

stormperson - that is too funny! Yeah, Cleveland is cool as far as competition goes, but like some of the items you listed, it's a downer for me. I may still go, but I also hate the fact that it's on Thanksgiving.

Most of the guys are getting there around 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Part of that is the computer is being used by the off-road guys before then. They return it for lap-counting use around 4:00 PM.

Having said that, I'll probably be there around 12:00 PM. I really like time to set up and take my time working on the car.
