Tag,
I picked up a Thunder Power 610C based on your recommendations. How do I make a balance plug to work with the charger to use with Trinity and Orion Lipo packs? What plugs should I get and what orientation would I solder the wires. Any help would be appreciated. Also, can't wait until AB-Charles gets in the lipo packs and motors from you again.

Thanks,
Ty

This may sound hard, But it is really easy.

First get a 2s Male plug with the 2 black wires and 1 red wire attached. There will be 3 wires coming from it 2 black and 1 red. Take the outer red +and black- and connect (Tap them inline)them to out going power leads that connect to Lipo. Take the last black wire and extend with some old servo wire and solder the 2mm plug onto that . When balancing pack just plug into the charger ballance junction. I only ballance every 2 weeks but NOT for a race, I only ballance for a practice run......

Here is sample link to get you a better idea.....

Default brushless 17.5

John,
Thanks for the wiring info for the 12th scale. I am looking forward to running the car at the Gate again when I get some time. I have a 74 tooth as well as a 76 tooth spur gear for the car as well as 47-55 tooth pinions from PRS. Most people tell me to start at about 50-76.

Thanks again for the info,

Robert Shuchman

John,

Do you only carry the Trinity lipo's or do you still carry the SMC's as well?

I would say your over geared. I know Your about 3 teeth higher than where I plan to start. Try starting at 45 pinion more toward 49mm for the Gate and about 44 pinion at Beaver. Also be very sure chassie is free not pushing at all as that will increase heat. Hope this helps some......
