Yeah, last hard copy issue was December 2011, been well publicised that they have shut up shop now.
They've gone digital and are concentrating on an online magazine now called Velocity RC:
http://vrcmag.com/
Dunno what they'd do about people's paid up subscriptions, but got a feeling that there would be an 'out' clause somewhere in the subscription contract when you signed up exempting them from paying out the remainder of the balance in the case of the company folding or unforseen circumstances.

My new project Velocity RC Magazine has nothing to do with the previous employment. It's unfortunate that people are owed money, but those involved with this new project were laid off and not a part, in any way of the financials of Xtreme RC Cars Magazine.
I hope that everybody checks out the new magazine (digital only) and sees that we will be producing a magazine that focuses on content and worth the $1.99/issue we will be selling it for!
Check out our videos we did as a sample of what we are doing...

Not a big fan of online magazines...do you have plans on a paper copy?

XRC was an entertaining mag. But as with every business these days if your not at the top of your game you're gonna go under. Seems any r/c car mag or hobby shop that isn't soley concerned about Traxxas or any other r/c bashing car company is doomed.

Well maybe you'll be a fan of this one, but I understand. Paper is great. But paper editions would cost 10,000x more to produce just to get the paper.
