fuel line question????
wat are the differences of using longer or shorter fuel lines?????which is better to use??

Me personally prefer as short as you can make it while leaving a little bit of slack in the line, the reason is because it is easier to prime the engine if it is as short as possible, I'm a bit of a noob and just replicated the stock length for the lines on my ntc3.
My reason is that of convienience nothing more nothing less
BTW : I use a pullstart so the easier priming is the better
hopefully somebody with more experience will chime in

The reason to use a longer line from the pipe to the tank is to reduce having pressure pulses entering the tank and causing the fuel to foam. Running longer line to the carb will allow the engine to run longer if you get flipped upside down. It also increases the fuel capicity a bit. Most racers use somewhere between 6 and 8 inches for both.

Increased run-time appears to be a major reason why people are longer fuel lines.
On the NTC3 you`ll generally see two ways of routing the fuel line-
1. The most direct and shortest is over the top of the pipe to the carb.
2. The longer option is via the inside of the engine block (over the main driveshaft) and then coming into the carb at the rear.
Cheers

generally, fuel line is fuel line the only question is wat colour u prefer, as long as the fuel line fits the pressure nipple and its silicone
