To the Integy users, can you switch off the trickle mode? Here in our country the brand is CDC from eagle racing, It looks the same as integy, only the printed name is different, i can't seem to find a way to switch off the trickle mode, I have read about the disadvantages of trickle on Nimh.

nope, you can not switch off the trickle mode on x5 or x9... However, there is a new x7 that's coming out, and I heard you will be able to switch the trickle off on the new x7....

Default LRP Quadra Charger

I am using this, simply because I do not have to carry a Power Supply with me.

Have you guys heard of this charger or has anyone used this?

Well, it only charges up to 5.5 amps, but i only charge at 4.5 - 5 amps for my NiMh packs.

But now I think I need to change my charger, lacks punch-period.

ANy comment on the charger??

Does the 16x9 have trick charge? I was under the impresion that it didn't, I've had one for a few months and it's working great, no false peaks even with destroyed packs, the only thing I don't like is the rather loud beeping sound and the discharge function, I'm getting a real time 2 discharger soon. Another thing that is good is the power supply is auto detected, 240, 110 or 12V. Great charger in my books. Also very easy to move around in.

Thanks freshJive, i went to the site, it says there that charging set at less than 1000mah switches the trickle off, but its still charging the normal way.

When charging 2400s at what peak detect do you guys set it at?
And when charging Tx batteries (sanyo 1500) at what peak detect is it supposed to be set?

Millennium Version 1.2

My packs started to slow down after sometime with the LRP Micro Charger... when I used the Millennium Pro, they all seem to come back to life....

I just needed some figure for the Volt Threshold and some other data regarding pack capacities and how much amps is needed to charge a certain pack....

Thanks!!

I think you get what you pay for......IMHO, I have had the novak and now have the reedy quasar pro and a T35BL and I like them both but the reedy does not have backlit for right under $200 but you can get the integy 16 x 5 or now the 16 x 7 that seems to be exactly the same for almost the same price or less with backlit. I do not know what your thoughts of having a backlit charger are, but when we run at night I think backlit is very important. Not to mention cycling batteries at home the backlit display comes in handy. While I'm typing this a have sold the quasar and I just bought a Pro Trak, everyone talks about it and I can't wait for the thing to get here.

Mill Pro : my batts performance improvd a lot when i switched to this charger. the built-in Pit Wizard also is a big help.

work : try 12mv peak detect for your 2400's and 8mv for you tx batts.

dongskie : i'm glad you're happy with the charger bro!!!
