I like the looks of it. I had one of your old AC Cobra bodies, never painted it and finally sold it to a friend. I wouldn't mind one of those again, if just for show.

Racing this weekend was great. No broken parts and my average lap time is coming down nicely. I finally got rid of my push. I did have an issue when the tires were still a little green the rear end wanted to come around on our hairpin. I changed my driving line for a couple laps and it went away. I think I either had too much sauce on the tires, or missed my tire prep timing.

The problem with this body is that is 1/9th scale. It is absolutely huge. Way to long, and way to wide. It probably could be good if it got alot smaller.

thats also the problem with other bodies like HPI. Pan car wheels just don't seem to fit the shells!

Had a great time in WGT last weekend with John. I need to get another motor, as I have no punch coming on the straight. John can tell you this as he caught me so fast he bump-drafted me down the straight. On the next lap the rate of closure was so great he peeled me by accident. The car was good, just need to get some speed in it.

I see local body debate thread has popped up again. Maybe bodies should be revisited? The original rules page doesn't exist any longer and the next closest thing are the IIC rules dating back as far as 2008, which are also used at the major race events nationally. Not sure about internationally. As far as open tires, I'm happy with the spec tires.

We originally ran the HPI Saleen S7 and Viper as some of our bodies, but most of the guys in the class were TC oriented trying out pan car. The performance difference was so great, everyone went to the Protoform Corvette and then to the Sophia when it came out. After that everyone just pretty much ran the best performing body with their paint scheme. I would like to see more bodies in the class for sure.
