This is the one you want: http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-xerun-...d-1s-blue.html

It's got a booster and you can use it with 2S also. The programming box is extra and the motor.

I suck! Lol. I'm so new to this BL and Lipo stuff I didn't even see that. But could that combo for $200 still run on 1s as long as you used a 1s Booster?

Whats the difference between that one and the blue unit that sells for $30 less?

Really? Thats lame. Plus I'm not digging the size and weight of that unit now that I see it on CRC's website. Nothing personal, CRC. Don't worry. I'm still ordering a bunch of stuff from y'all soon.
I just feel I want an esc with a very small footprint and weight that won't drown me in debt (hint hint LRP and Tekin).

Do you need to solder a capacitor to the Hobbywing 1s like i see with the LRP or the Tekin RS?

Yep, but instead of just one small cap you solder on the supplied 4 ganged cap as seen in the CRC and HW photos.

It's a very tight fit on a RC12 chassis but can be done with about a quarter of the ESC hanging off the chassis. One of our racers managed to get it in but then the wires rubbed the body, he fixed that but had to add almost 2oz to balance the car side-to-side.

He is still working on a better setup to balance the chassis but it's as fast as the Tekins and Novaks.

The Hobbywing120a 1s esc fits in my 12R5 chassis without hanging off the chassis and I only had to add 1 ounce to balance the chassis. I run one in my World GT also. The esc is extremely smooth and with the handheld programmer there is no need to lug a laptop to the track. I also run a 60a version in my Sc10 and it perform flawlessly too. You can't beat this esc for price/value. Granted it has a larger footprint than the Tekin but for the price I stick to my Hobbywing's.

I looked at the pictures of the CRC above and don't see the capacitors on the 1/12 carpet knife but i do see them on the world GT car

It will be awhile before I can race.... Bought $800 in poured concrete to make the house look nice.

On another note; WHY can't anyone make a 1/12 body like this!?!?

My mistake, I thought it was hanging over.
