From the info I got NO..... the bulkheads,chassis,and top deck(along with other items) will be new. It will be a new kit only from what I was told.

And to the response from someone earlier, yes Ralph Burch told me as well late Feb. possibly even March a new kit will be coming. I with BigDog..... I gotta see how good this car is cause my FK is already good.

Bummer - I was looking for a NIB FT kit too. Looks like they will no longer be available. Think I might give a RDX a try. I've been very dissapointed lately with Xray and their parts support for the car. Wanna try out the RDX with me Jay?

That RDX is Rocking! And, I hear you can actually get parts for it.

XRay really has a problem on their hands IMHO. Parts availability is really scaring a lot of people away. I know our local club went from 6 or 7 XRays to 1 in about 1 months time.

I like the car but don't want to carry around $200 or more in spares to race every weekend.

So-let me get this stright-there are no more FK kits comng to the US? Cause I just sold mine recently-figuring on buying a new kit in June or July. But-if there are NO FK's-I might have to buy another one right now just in case the original is better than the FK05'.

LOL, yeah Ray that's what it looks like. Of course from what Ralph said nothing is set in stone and details could change. (like that they are planing on having front and rear diffs and not a one way,you would get it seperately)

AAarrggghhhh-well-I cannot claim ignorance-but I thought the new Xray was gonna be the same as it is now-but with with the new bulkheads with lower layshaft pulleys and spur and motor moved forward. Not that a side by side battery car wouldnt be awesome too.

Hrmm...I am definitely going to make a call tomorrow after school and figure this one out. The thing that sucks, is I got a FK about 2 months ago, and still haven't run the thing any. I have been busy tearing it up in the dirt with the XB8.

Just saw the new rcamerica price sheet. It has the FK'05 on it and no FK. Bigger news - $396. The dollar is really getting killed by the euro.

Any nation that imports more than it exports is gonna end up with a poor econamy. Atleast the US isn't throwing protective tarrifs on everything like they have done in the past (yet)
