Desoto Racing is the place I order from. .

U will want 0 degree steering blocks and the 10 degree c-hubs. I am currently running aluminum steering blocks and the plastic c hubs. I would like to go aluminum there as well but haven't really seen the need as I have yet to break one. But I do wonder if all aluminum might give less slop in the steering area there. .

I have both installed on my car and hope to test it tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I also put the 2.0 rear end. Lets see how the car reacts.

What's the 2.0 rear end differences and what would zero deg castor blocks do? Are they the the Hot new set up ? Been running 10 deg c hubs and 0 deg steering blocks.

Thankx

In theory they should result in much more steering. I haven't talked to any of the Team guys who have tested them yet but I am hearing great things so far through the grapevine. Sounding like they are able to go much higher on the front diff oil in the 1 million range and also taking out some rear toe.

I'll let you know if i hear anything, I'll be picking up a set soon for sure.

Track was closed this weekend due to the Electric Nationals so I could not test out the new setup. The 2.0 rear send rear mounts the shocks and should give it more rear traction. I was thinking of upping my front diff oil from 500000 to 1 Million but didnt want to make too many changes at once.

I ran the 2.0 rear for a while but ended up putting it back on the buggy. Was fun to try out for sure but the buggy was calling my name

I have no plans on putting 2.0 on, doesn't it just makes the rear some mm wider.

There is no "need" to put on the 2.0 rear. Some just like to play around and see if they can find an edge. All the top guys running Cobras still have the original rear end.

If you have the time to play around and see what fits your driving style then by all means

Thanks for the good info Ty. ..

1million seems really thick in the front. Almost spool like ? Lol .
I ran 500 in front for TZGP and was wishing I stayed around :300. Think it just fits me and or that track better. .. The car that won (yes it was a cobra ) was running kit set up. KJ Jones was on a rail. ..

I'm still running 300K too, I love how the car turns in. With the 10 deg Caster and V2 gears you'll see the 300Ks and a lot of 500Ks all depending on the track. With the 0 Caster blocks we should be able to go up in the diff for us probably 500K. Hard to really say until we get to try them out.

KJ is a very solid driver, I just hope he had lots of fun with the class and all his crew pick it up
