add me to that list. where/when?
i bought a novak ss when they first came out, loved it, but a bit slower than i would prefer (currently in 4w offroad vehicle). looking for something upgraded/faster that is sensored and widely available.
although i would actually prefer an equivelant novak unit, they refuse to come out with an eta other than 'soon'. soon has now turned into a 1.5 years plus with the same response.

gee-dub...
Ya, I'm looking forward to the to the new faster Novak system. I know so many people that held off waiting for the competition version. I got the SS and I love it. It could be faster and it needs more adjustments like the GTX. I wish they could make it as adjustable as a GTX, with the same foot print. I would never go back to brushed again.

Anybody?
After a big intro in RCCA...
I haven't heard (read) anything updating the availability of these.
I just read an intro on Novak's newest speed control, the Super Sport Plus and it's a little underwhelming. It will be the same size as the current SS, it has more adjustability and can be used with burshed motors down to 12 turns. Translate that to racing terms and it sounds slightly soft. I have the current SS and it works very well but with all that torque on tap, I'd love to gear higher for outdoor tracks (racing on a small indoor track right now) but the speed control can't handle it.
The LRP Sphere is supposed to take care of all of that.
Does anybody know a realistic availability date?

No, it's just one of those things...It'll come out when it comes out. I am sure it's not too far away from stores, but a definate date . Looks like it will be worth the wait though!

Near the top it says: "This product has been delayed in its release
"
Sux, I want one too. The local track has been discussing a brushless class. I like the idea because you could get 9t performance with little to no maintainance...

Remember read somewhere else said:
LRP Sphere ESC with Novak SS5800 motor = ok
Novak SS5800 ESC with Reedy NEO motor = not ok
I own SS5800 system right now so I'm pretty much waiting for a new ESC to boast the speed without replacing motor. Either LRP Sphere ESC or Novak new ESC will both be fine for me.

We do not yet have a brushless class at our track. However, this new combo may change all that. With a single ESC that can run in both Brushed and Brushless classes, it'll make adding the new class easier ,and more economical to make the transition. I could sell my GTX, use the procedes to upgrade to the Sphere, and pick up the Neo One when more people have the option...

Here in the Philippines, brushed is still the most popular. But im pretty sure many people (like me) will avail of the BL.
Once the LRP sphere and neo one are used, im sure other people will follow.
Cheers!

Now that LRP and Novak has had a chance to test thier system under real race conditions (The Nats).
Has anyone close to LRP or Novak heard any pro or cons on the system that they ran.
How did they end up finishing at the nats?
