I used the Spintec on every battery I own. I am wondering how often I need to use the spintec to retain any of its benefits? I can tell you right now with it taking so long to disharge and do its maintenance cycle, it is not possible to do all the packs in a race day. Many of my packs are deadsjorted as well-so that further difficults the time thing. I cannot let these packs sit around for hours waiting for the spintec.
also-is there any data to support that the Spintec has its greatest affect on brand new packs. For example you use it right after the first cycle-or even before the first charge to take any residual charge out of packs.

will you recommand discharge the cells by Batman everytime after run?
will it hurt the cells?
by the way...before charge it...will you also discharge the cells by Batman?
as currently i'm using Novak Smart Tray dicharge each cell to 0.9V prior charging.....

Picked up the BatMan last week and have now completed one BatMan cycle (from full charge) on each of my far-less-than-stellar batteries (3300s). The funny thing is, when picking the top three packs to race with, I don't know if I should focurs on capacity, run time, energy or IR (look at those IR numbers - OUCH). So, I'm asking you guys what you think. How would you rank these batteries (1 to 6) and why? You can also tell me if you think it's time for new batts. I run stock. Thanks.

ranking order:
1. Pack 4
2. Pack 2
3. Pack 5
4. Pack 3
5. Pack 1
6. Pack 6
i ranked them according to your IR. i run mostly stock with some 19T. a lower IR will give you more punch. you'll notice your IR go down even more once you run your packs (either in practice or in a race) then discharge it again on the Batman. purchasing new batteries will all depend on your budget and how long you've had these cells and how you treat them. but since you have the Batman now... taking care of your cells just got easier and the new ones you do get will last even longer now.

Hi guys,
I do know that this BatMan have not been designed with stick pack in mind, but my results look very wired.
Just pick up two of my warst packs for make my first test.
One 2400NiCd no name (Conrad)
One 3000NiMh from Sanyo (old and abused)
Both packs use a Deans plug
In order to get a clean connection, I put a new unsolder deans male and from the two free metal part I have connected the BatMan.
The NiCd that perform really crap (50% top speed then my GP3300) was almost discharge, and after 20 second (BatMan time, so around 200 real seconds) did copletly discharge the pack, and reported an incredible 57mOhm internal resistance
Done this I plug in my Sanyo 3000 (fully charge 1 week ago) pack and the final result is even more incredible: 315sec 7.47v 70.6j 2800mAh 22mOhm
22mOhm for a cheap ready made stick pack is impossible!
I would have expected that having additional cable and the deans connector in the middle would have shown me very high internal resistance ....
Other strange thing is that the voltage reading is chnaging quite a lot, it show for example 7.6volt and after a fraction of second is show 7.4volt, quite a big gap!
Is my BatMan ok and the problem is just the extra Deam connector?
Should I sold a male Deans in my BatMan for have more accurate reading , since I use only stick pack with Deans ?

It would be nice if Erick can comment on it.
Since I use stick packs with deans, I have two parallel cable long around 10cm (5cm from the pack and 5 cm from the BatMan.
These two cable could act as capacitor/condensator ... so when the BatMan make the inpuls for discharge some corrent is comming from the capacity accumulated in the two cable and not from the cells itself ... so the RI look much better ... if I put an additional capacitor in parallel to the pack, I'm sure I will see incredible low RI value!
One other thing I have notice, a single second of the BatMan is equivalent of 25 real seconds. From the reported data 315sec and 2800mAh it also raise that it is not a 35Amp discharger, but a 32Amp
Considering that the time is 25 slower, the battery is in fact discarged in avarage 1.2Amp ... not a impressing but still reasonable for use between two races ... assuming no more then 1200mAh left in the pack

There is something wrong with this BatMan !!!
Grazianos reported a strange report (consisten with his other tests*BTW) :

He see a capacity of 4834mAh !!!
Even assumin he tested a 3700GP, there is no way to get out of it more then 3500mAh with 35Amp discharge !
My second test over my crappy 2400NiCd from Conrad (even not good for training in any 17T class car) did report:
468s 7.43v 104j 4161mAh 61.5m
4161mAh for a old abused 2400NiCd is absolutly wrong!!!!!
On my second test I'm having still 6.5V and 515sec run time!
During the night I try to fully discharge my fully charge Sanyo 3000 (it took only 2500mAh since is an old and abused pack) ... and as good morning I see a stupid result 1 sec runtime ! .. I guess the pack has been fully discharge, and after it finish the first cycle for this packwithout any interaction it most probably decided to start a new cycle again !!!!
As well after finishing discharging , my BatMan stay around 30min in a maintenance mode , quite anoying long !
Is my problem due to the stick pack usage withe Deans ???
Did I got a bad BatMan ?
Or is just a fake crappy product this BatMan ?
