GRP Gandini Tyres THE Thread
hey all,
just picked up some of the Atomic B's and Caymens yesterday... preglued for $98AUD 4 packs
does anyone still race pro or just race with the GRP brand...
thoughts...?
whats been your experience genuinely... grip , wear , pricing...
as soon as im set ill do a review and let everyone know how the Caymens and Atomic Bs go... both have Medium hardness inserts belted and are looking solid azz .
question is will they expand like some do.. or will the belted ridges plant these babies , as you can tell ive never had belted tyres.. :P
stay tuned.. and share you stories..

your not wrong there... have checked both tyres and the glue work they've done is clllllean.... got these at 21AUD per pair... which is a mad price.. think if your a shop owner online or other GRP sells direct.. so saves the reseller money and buyer...

I ordered some last week, mainly cause the price was good, looking at the GRP site it looks like they are trying to make a come back into the market this year, so cheaper pricing could be based off that, maybe.
But I'm getting some Cayman Mediums, though my feedback likely won't be worth much, as I'm only just starting out in off road right now, so I won't have a clue how well they are supposed to work.

Hi There..
I ran with GRP last year..
I've used all new grp tires like Cayman, Plus, Grip, and so on.
I think that tires are NOW at highest level..
It's absolutely interesting that you can choice internal mousse (orange=soft, black=hard) and compound as your desire.
Best choice for winter (temp below 15°C) is X compund, that gives great traction and low wear
When it's hot (25°C or more), it's better to have an A compund.
About internal mousse:
Orange it's REALLY GREAT on bumpy track!! You feel the car really linked to the track!!!AMAZING
Black on smooth track..black gives higher speed, but only if the track it's very smooth.
I've used Aka, and proline, but prefer (thinking also at price) NEW GRP TIRE LINE..
BTW i buy them on adrmodel store
