I actually think it was 11 laps before you had to pull the car off for the next race. At 12-12.5 second laptimes, that more than 2 minutes extra track time before they fell off a little.

Gotta admit, the batteries were killer. I couldn't catch Bob in the main with my old 3300's.

Good run yesterday old man!

l8r,

Tim

Tony,

WOW! This new batch of 3800s are killer. Without a doubt, my fastest run times of the day came from the packs I bought from you last week. I've been trying to cut down on my r/c spending spree lately, but screw it. I need two more packs from you.

Default Thanks Tony

My new IB3800's helped me take the win today in the C 1/12th at the Gate. Those batteries were good on there first and second run. Unlike the 3600's where the second was better, the 3800 were consistently good. Comparing to my Zebra 3300's which I could hold full throttle at the five minute mark, I was feathering the throttle during the whole 8 minute main with the 3800's.

Unfortunately three weeks of glitching has led to me not trusting the car, now that I found the glitch and the power I'll be whooping your butt in the B main.

Thanks again,
Gabe

BTW I still owe you a dollar.

I didn't make it to the Halloween classic last year but we will this year.
Are entry forms are allready in.
The IB's are holding up great. Thurday I let a friend run one of my packs and now he is a believer. You will be hearing from him.
I'll give you a call this week.

Gabe what was your feeling on the 3800 the second run?( faster or longer run time)?
I would just like what you felt

Tony ,
In 1/12th stock , I'm finding they are better the 2nd charge ,both up front rip and runtime to spare , this is at a 6 amp linear charge . I want to try that step charge you recommended with the new batch .
I relayed the batteries / stickers out to Tim in Vegas . I'm going out to race stock TC tonite ,wish me luck ... LOL , not many 1/12th scales out racing yet .

Default Tony

This was the first run ever on the new pack, I found that the second run was identical to the first. The pack had a one hour rest between first run and second charge. I'm sure they will be even faster next week!

BTW you were right about the gearing. I turned faster times the way I had it rolled out, at a 1.53. Went to a 1.63 and best lap suffered by .3 sec. I think the difference is my comm is almost down to the minimum cutting diameter. So when people recommend a 1.63 its on a newer to medium sized com.

See you on the 28th for practice.

Later,
Gabe
