Hmm, thought I had posted in this one previously. Took a long time to find one but finally stumbled across a new unit that hadnt been finished. Snatched it up for $35 if I remember correctly and it sits up on a shelf with a myriad of other old resto projects I have.

My first car was a Traxxas Nitro Rustler. I sold that after about 6 tanks of fuel because I didn't like nitro and bought a XXX-T kit. My friend also had a XXX-T and we would go racing together. The XXX-T MF1 came out a few weeks after I got my XXX-T. It didn't take me long to convert mine to all graphite with the pimpy red stuff though.
It's been Losi ever since! Kinda hard to believe that was like 12ish years ago.

Mine was the Tamiya Hornet in 1984. Broke too many parts. Moved to the rc10 gold pan after that. Still broke a ton of stuff. Learned how to drive after that lol. Slow is fast........ Rolling an Sc10 ft nowadays. Still use the knowledge I got from that old rc10.

been playing around with Nikkos since I was 3, but my first "real" RC was HSP Tyrannosaurus... (I know it's weird that I'm still in this hobby with that one as my first car )
Then I got my first "real" electric, which was a Haiboxing monstertruck.. later that year I got my first "quality" RC car, HPI E-firestorm... this is where it all started

I was probably 14 or 15, I'm now 27. I talked my dad into buying me a used Duratrax Maximum ST. That was my first and my last nitro. After that I bought a used electric Stampede and never looked back. I can't even tell you how many thousands of dollars I've spent since.

My first as a kid was a Nikko toy... But got into RC more recently when my mate gave me a 1/10 HSP nitro buggy, then upgraded to a Losi LST XXL but got sick of nitro pretty quick so now I run a Jammin SCRT 10 brushless and have just bought a Tamiya TT01 drift car FTW!
