Team Associated RC10 championship edition back in 1990 was my first competition buggy.

Raced in the mod class with a 10turn double soon after! sheeit, you should have seen it, a 10 year old beginner with a mod motor in a 2wd.

My first rc car was a Tyco Turbo Hopper. My first real rc car was a Kyosho Icarus, followed by a Tamiya Blackfoot and then finally into a race car with a Losi JRXT.

1989 RC10 Graphite Buggy, Futaba Magnum Jr, Tekin manual speed control, Trinity MonsterTorque, AstroFlight quick charger. Still got it all and it still works perfect. Although the battery only runs strong for about 45 sec. Lol.

Still have the original box and the MSRP was $395 over 23 years ago!

My first was the marui Big Bear and then the marui samurai back in the mid 80's. Mostly bashed around and just now got back in the game, my first race will be this Sunday, boy how things have changed....

For me it was the Tamiya Fox in 1985. Then the RC10 in 1986 and the JRX2 in 1988. Various mods done to each of them. Next was a XX in 1995 and then various cars in the past year. Mostly vintage of the same eras.

Tamiya Fox in 1986. If they come out with a re-re I would have no choice but to 'buy it back'!

My first was way back in the 80's non-hobby grade Aero Kit.

Flash foward 25+ years and my first hobby grade is a Rustler VXL.

Same here That was back in the day when my friends and I would play "tag" with our cars. Smash into another car and "TAG you're it!" I have to say I think I had more fun with that car than any since. Probably because I don't play tag anymore
