My first car was a Tamiya Frog. I don't have fond memories of it; I threw too much of my hard-earned money at that POS and it still never ran good, and never even had the reliability of my younger brother's decidedly inferior Marui Galaxy.
The only good thing about it was it was a great-looking car; I had the blue alloy sideguards and a body painted black with lime green & royal blue accent stripes on the sides & wing. I sold it to a younger kid and never regretted that sale for a moment.

My first car was a bolink legend. It was a fun fast car on 4cell back in the day. The car after that was a rc10 gold pan.
Wish I can find a bolink legand in good condition for a shelf queen

My first "real" rc car was an old gold tub chassis RC10 around 89-90. Raced it off road for a year or so then converted it to a sprint car, then sold it when the local track at the time closed and was out of racing until about 6 years ago. Picked up an FT T3 from a friend and went to a T4 like two months later, still have that T4. First nitro car was a Traxxas nitro hawk. Wish I knew what happened to that truck.

My first was a Tamiya Hotshot I built myself when I was 13. Definitely not the ideal first build...I think it took 3 days!
Then:
Tamiya Hornet- had every hop up CRP made and still handled like crap!lol
Mauri Big Bear- probly had the most fun with this one
RC10 6 gear Goldpan- Still have this one only its fully modded with Composite
Craft graphite, later team shocks, Stealth tranny, Andys
A arms, etc.I still run it occasionally.
MRP Pro 110- wish I could find a mint one now!
Yokomo Dogfighter- had the 7 cell hump pack that went over the chain.
Anyone remember those?
Custom Works Enforcer- Only ran it 10 laps on clay oval. Still have it and its
mint
Good times!!

Nitro Rustler 2.5 from 2003. A lot of abuse and my sons eventually threw it in the pool. I started it months later and it worked. More damage was done with the dropped it and broke the engine and that's how it sits today.

My first R/C vehicle is the ECX Torment 1/10 SC truck...just bought it last week, and I'm brand new to this R/C Hobby so time will tell what is next.

you can still buy the legends carsa company named RJ speed bought bolink and the kits are still exactly the same as they were back in the day.The legends class still draws at least 2 heats of racers every week at our local carpet track.
