GT-4 Parts 50% off!!
Randman- Sorry to hear your bad luck. That sucks!!!
Did everybody see that MicroRCShop is selling all Yokomo Gt-4 Parts for 50% off http://66.70.235.59/Merchant2/mercha...ry_Code=gt4_ct is that a sign that Yok is coming out with something new? Or is he just clearing out Yok's??? You would think that if Yok is coming out with something new that you would still carry Gt-4 parts. Maybe some parts are interchangable??? Or is he just having a killer sale.

I think since GT-4s are not as common anymore, it doesn't make sense for someone who has a web based shop to hold on to parts forever. It costs money to have that stuff and if it's not selling, you gotta get rid of it. I think it's been stated that Yokomo will support the GT-4 for a while longer.

Sounds to me like the shop won't be working with Yokomo and is clearing up stocks.

too bad you have to sell the car before you even had a chance to drive
it. So i guess ill see you at socal since i will be driving a little electric this
year. Anyway You should also try to run the airtronics race at rev if you
have a chance to borrow someones car.

Masami Hirosaka in Brazil
Hi Yokomo Guys,
Well, i had the chance to meet Masami Hirosaka last sunday here in Sao Paulo - Brazil, he came for the preworlds ... i just hope tomorrow and next 4 days we dont receive more rain hehehehe ...
I must say that this guy is a very good person ... sunday and monday he trained on a indoor facility here in Sao Paulo and was testing 2 prototypes ... i had the oportunity to know the car and shoot a film of it runing on the track here but Masami asked me to not shoot pictures of the chassis without the body on cause its a prototype yet ... and they have a couple of chassis and a lot of loose pieces and mount different combinations to test on the track ... well, the car he will run on the preworlds, on my humble opinion its awesome and have many differences over the actual GT4 we all know ...
Masami, as i said, its a great guy, he answer you every single question about setups, the car (gt4 and prototype) , tips for runing and all ... its good to see a professional of this hobby being so open to all people that go close to him and talk about different things ...
I will doing some cover of the event during the 4 days so i hope to post here pictures on a daily basis ...
Cya !!

I asked Masami about taking pictures of the prototype and he aske me not to (on a gentle way, this guy is a very good person) ... i stayed almost 1.5 hours watching and visually analizing the prototype car he was testing and doing a lot of questions about it and Masami answered all ... i will have the oportunity of being weith him tonight on a indoor track again so i will ask if its possible to publish public information about the prototype here on rctech.net, but i think he will ask not to either ... for us, the Yokomo fanatics i think will be a really good surprise when the new car appears on the market someday in the future cause at least which i saw its AWESOME and very very interesting with a hell of a great performance on track.
