OOHHHH, I didn't realize it was you, haven't seen you since the OK/TX Red River race series we did a few years ago(& of course all of us hanging together at the Novak race). Well then, I guess I'll have to work a little faster & get my VTA car ready as well as my 416(was wanting to anyway, now, I have even MORE reason to run it), just received a Boss 302 body this week, so once I have some time to get some electronics back in my touring cars & get a couple of bodies painted, you'll probably see more of me down there....

They should make the announcements À la carte, it would speed things up. You can mention any 4 things and it's Free. Anything over that, like how you shared a cab, or didn't tip the pizza guy is $20 per mention. Add $30 if the announcer can't read your handwriting... Add $50 if it's an inside joke and 2 or less people chuckle. Add $75 if the mention includes the line, "...for the fast work..". Add $100 if, in any way, it relates to a part that cost less than a dollar.
definition of a *part*, including but no limited to mentions of the following. Diffballs, Q-tips, screws (Metric or SAE), Allen wrenches, Steve's wrenches, Bill's wrenches, wrenches in general. A dob of glue or paint, decals, scraps of wire, fuel tubing, zip ties, washers or shims (under 1" diameter). E-clips, fuel inlet nipples, body clips, pens pencils or sharpies, any souvenir from a strip club, and sandpaper.

Neither, it goes to the Turn-Marshalls who showed up on time, then stood there for 30 minutes waiting for the tone.

ROAR
Is there any way that tech could be up and running on thursday to get some of the racers through before the big rush on friday? It might be rough getting everyone through on friday as well as getting some practice time!! It will be my first time at Mikes! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I asked this question on the previous page, but didn't see a response to it.
All my previous experience with ROAR National events has been fuel on-road. I am not familiar with how ROAR operates tech inspection at the electric events.
Will all cars be expected to go thru tech on Friday? If so, will they be expected to do so prior to practice(ie: you can only practice once you are thru tech)?
Are cars still teched before each heat during qualifying?
