aren't you worried about parts availability? Like shock towers, front arms...etc?

I almost had one of these bought, but decided to hold out for a BJ4. I'm really happy with it...but you say this is better? I noticed you also have a XXX-4. Can you compare the two? What are the major handling differences between them?

Interesting.... //starts thinking about a new car.

parts availability isnt hard to find at all.....
parts are at all my major hobbyshops...

the xxx-4 almost cant be compared...
the X5 does what it say...accelerates like a xxx-4 and handles like a xx-4...

its really smooth to drive...takes no over driving or anything...
you can easily drive it withouthaving to push it like u would the poor handling xxx-4 and the BJ4 that has too much chassis flex..
the bj4 is a good car...but with the ammount of flex it has the way you have to set it up for high bite tracks isnt easy....

The X5..i wouldnt run anything else....

and im not gettin anything for saying this????
so thats my beleif

That's cool. Sounds like a solid platform to work with.

So what have you done about the one-way situation? Most of the team X-5 drivers say they won't run without one.... Do you use a front one-way? Are you running one of those aftermarket ones, like from apex models?

True true. No matter what car or class you're driving.

Thanks for the info. I've got an old xx-4we laying around here somewhere... just need to get some shocks and the conversion kit for it.

Maybe I can convince santa to get me some stuff!

me and chazz just kept the extra one way ready to go in...but never needed it...
plus after a few hard hits i only broke one arm in a day...only because i went a lil to fast over the double and put it to the wall off the straight goin about 25.

Default This Kit is DIALED...I would recomend you...

BUY TWO, so you can lend your buddy one during a race!

Look, Greg Hodapp has SIGNED with the X-Factory for next year and I was going to run one as well at the IFMAR worlds next year.

The belt system is dialed and the XX-4's handeling is superior to the XXX-4 and the BJ4-4x4 (nothing against either of these companies FYI) and that is MY UN-PAID un-biased opinion as well.

I have TWO XX-4's that I want to convert when I get some extra cashola...

Young Chazz and Old Chazz, KEEP UP THE GOOD, HARD, HONEST WORK, IT WILL PAY OFF!

Cheers,

Great Job Driver1!

there is someone local around here who has an X-5 and another who had a BJ4x4, so 4wd this summer for us in the land of snow will get to do some 4 wheeling. I look forward to racing against the X-5 with my SB Pro.

Who knows, maybe losi will like the design so much they buy the right to it! There molds are probably all paid for so i could imagine how much of a cash cow that could be. Even if they don't buy the X-Factory guys out, if the buggy hits it big, could see alot of parts being ramped up .

Great Job again and will see you X-5 guys on the battlefield !
