Default Boosted World GT Motor selection

I am considering getting a World GT to add to my indoor racing.

The last time I raced a class like this was 2003 and that was 1/12 scale stock and mod.

The Local track Runs 13.5 Boosted World GT 1Cell. What motors would be the correct ones to pick from I have done a little reading and It seems the Thunder Power motor might be a good choice along with maybe a duo?

Looking for some info whatever you guys can share, Things like what motors you use, what settings, what are the right motors to use or build for this class, what motors made the top 10 at IIC.

I would most likely use a teken pro speedo.

Thanks for all teh info and help.

I'm using an Epic Duo 3 with a Tekin RS set for 40 boost and can timing out of the box, turbo is off since we have very little straight. Motor is barely warm. Track is 60 x 40. I'm also using a Pro-Tech 1S 5200mah 65C battery and a Trinity 220mah LiFe receiver pack. Power delivery is smooth from bottom to top.

Rollout is 75 with 54mm CRC WGT spec wheels.

The car (AE RC10R5) accelerates like a brute, turns like a swan and crosses the finish line like a champ.

since you asked about what they were running at IIC. Here you go

I'm sorry I can't help you with speedo settings or rollout though since I don't race pan cars. I checked Tekin's site, but the only 1s team driver setups they list are for 12th scale.

Good luck
