If i wanted to buy a screw batch from eBay for spares. the ones from the chop shops what Ofna car would give me the most usable screws for the DM1 spec-e considering i do not see any DM-1 specific screw batches?

Never thought i would have a problem finding a screw kit for a car.
I usually buy a set for spares for every vehicle i own, so much cheaper than a trip to the LHS for 1 missing screw when you usually end up buying a pack of 6 for half the cost of these whole car packs from ebay.

I don't think a 2200 will get you the 90 you are looking for, I would say the 2650 is more of want you need, and gear it out.

Neh, the 2650 is not possible to run on 5 or 6S. Also the 2650 does not have the torque to reach highspeed in time before it runs out of range/sight.

I run the 2650 on 6s. Yes you do need a lot of room for speed runs

I was able to hit 90mph with a 2250kv Tekin T8 4038 Motor.

Here are my specs:

Tekin RX8 esc
Tekin T8 4038 2250kv motor
Two ZIPPY Flightmax 5000mAh 3S1P 40C lipo,
Gearing: 26T pinion 42T spur (HPI part number for the spur gear: 76952.... it will fit the holder with a little cutting )
GRP belted tires
Body: DP8-GT

I just bought a 30T pinion and plan to give that a try soon.

Here is a video of it going 90mph:

Got mine today, ignore the traxxas 2075 it will likely get replaced, but i had a spare here. Just need to pick up an extension for my ESC lead and I'll be rocking. Felt like hiding the wire this time and routed it and I'm just short of the RX.
MMM 2650 on 17t pinion Stock spur 46 i think?

Bought this from Huck50

Pics don't do this body justice. Got to get more outside tomorrow.

If you are in Southern Californina, OC Circuit has scheduled races on a monthly bases. It's tons of fun. Here's their link.
