Dear Ryan

I own one of you good product CTX-MM which Ive also lost track what version was it. After I bought the Silver casing CTX-MM last year Nov. 2003 (new release at that time from Hong Kong) for about 4-5 months, a new Surikarn Edition (silver casing) with new features was released and today a newer version (black casing with big black buttons) is released again. That is 3 different version in less than one year.

The same go to your power supply, I was about to buy the 16A power supply, suddenly a new 20A was realeased. I know you have good quality products improving all the time but I dont think many RC company do business that way. I know hobby shops who carried too much stocks suffered from this kind of frequent changes of product version.

Im not surprise the same will happen to the cell master and that is why Im waiting!

Some part. I agree with MIKA. There is one thing about the charger. it is software upgradable. eventhough much more racing come up with newer and better way to charge the batteries. software upgrade will allow to change it.

Default New version

Dear Mika

Thank you for your kind advice,

Actually we have been released newer versions so soon.
Of course we-Muchmore know that.
That could be unhappy for former users.
I apologize that.
However, please kindly understand, that's not for good selling but for better products.
(Older Moror master had "heat problem",
14A Power supply, we found some of them had "8cell charge trouble" and couldn't run starter or tire turer.)

We could not find any severe defect from Cell master yet,
all stocks(1st batch) sold out already and we are preparing second batch as "same parts, PCB circuit and program"

Thank you,

Ryan

Hi Ryan, glad to see you on here. I emailed you a couple of times about racing in S. Korea but unfortunatly I was unable to make any races. Hopefully I will be able to race with you in the spring time.

Default TMM Tires?

Hi Ryan.
Is there any plans for TMM to produce its own line of tires?

CUSTOMER SERVICES

MIKA, totally agreed with you, but you missed out 2, that is the the blue Surikarn Edition and the Orion version, so total of 5 versions in one year!!! Isnt it amazing!!!!

You dont see LRP Pulsal 10 edition or Futaba 3PK 20 revision today.

Is there any chance that we can replace any older version CTX-MM as you are not confidence with you R&D works with your products since you repeatedly revision after revision??

Wonder when is the HARA Purple edition cell master or Surikarn version 2 cell master be out?? May be 30A power supply is coming soon??

Thanks for the comments SnailMan.

The blue Motor Master was a special order for a Company in Hong Kong and was very limited quantity. You are lucky to get one

Thanks again,

Keith.

Ryan or anyone,
I have a little problem charging 8 cells AA.
It seems with my current power supply I cannot charge above 0.4A.
However, it used to charge the same packs at over 2A without problem with another charger (CDC) and the same power supply.

I tried another power supply @14V and the CTX MM can charge at above 1.0A for 8 cells.

I'm thinking of getting another power supply. my choices:
1. 12V switching power supply 20A
2. 13.5V switching power supply 12.5A

Obviously choice no.2 is cheaper but I'd like to know if it works perfectly with the cell master?

Default 8cell charge

When you charge 8cell battery with Cell master,
Increase power supply voltage higher than 13.8V(~16.0)
Then you can charge it at 1.0A

Cell master can't charge If the voltage of battery over power supply's output voltage.
I would recommend the power supply that has volt adjustable volume on it.(Power master : 10.X~15.X V)
No. 2 is fine if it has adjustable volume and it is enough for charging or discharging for one pack(two packs also possible if you charge 5A/5A) at the same time.

Hello,

Could anyone tell me what is that?
http://www.much-more.co.jp/imgs/stand.jpg

Is it just a fancy battery stand or can do something more?

Nick

i think it's also a battery warmer where you can plug it into the cell master and you can control the start-stop temperature.
I think its meant for temperate climates?
