I've never had any problems with the standard blocks, no geometry issues, never bent a screw, hinge pin or broken anything, the slighty fexible nature of the blocks seems to protect it.

I have had pillow block in other cars and they a simple to work on but I have lost count of how many hinge pins I have replaced.

I do use the Schumacher C clip spacers on the pins, makes wheel base adjustments easy.

The X-ray shocks with reflex bladders are the best combo I've used. Now like my X-ray shocks better than any trf set I've owned.

Default need more rear grip

hi i race on indoor carpet set up is xray carpet setup apart from 40 weight shock oil f+r ,rear shock on inner most setting 5.5mm ride height the problem is first 2 rounds i just don't have any rear grip i know you get more grip from more rubber being put down but would like more rear grip from round 1 by round 3/4 car is well set up with plenty rear grip is there anything i can change on car to get intant rear grip from round 1 ? i use sorex 28 jb tyres thanks

maybe try a different tyre additive? try a lower ride height?

Whats your rear camber at? You could increase it ,or add more rear toe in. You could also try raising the inside of the rear camber link to increase roll.

camber is -2 ,rear toe in is 3 degrees

Can you put your additive on for longer, or use less on the front?

How do you do your additive at the moment?

i put additive on at least for 1/2 hr before first race full on front and rear tyres i did try to put only half on front but found first heat was getting less grip from front tyres due to getting marbles on the one side of tyres after the first heat i use full on rear and half on fronts

I know the asker is have some where but here is go again. I want to run mod I have a 5.5 motor and I need to know were to start with pinion and spur gear.

116 spur and 32 pinion blinky, mess with the timing after that
