But that would also affect the steering post flex. I used to drive 417 and we removed the carbon piece securing the steering post to give more steering.

Plus it's not exactly a 417.

Espo did you counter sink your top plate too?

Its actually quite brillant the modifcation. You can move this portion of the top plate and make it stiff or looser. So while we have 2.5, 2.0, 1.6 etc. He can actually have any top plate setting he wants do any degree of stiffness.
