Sorry for being lazy just thought I would ask here first before testing. I'm currently running an LRP X12 17.5 with Hobby Wing in spec zero timing class and I was running 3 dot getting around 55 degrees c at the end of 6 mins at night if I put a 4 dot in and race during the day will the temps increase by much? running 40mm fan on the motor as well. Just want to see if I have drop gearing.

4 dot is less motor timing, so it should run cooler and have less rpm and more torque if geared the same. Temps should be the same or maybe hotter depending on how hot the day is, but it wont be going to the 4 dot that gets it hotter.
