Default What is the difference between all three SXX Ver. 2 Escs?

I've cross checked the specs on all three SXX ver. 2 speed controls; Competition, Stock Spec, TC Spec.

They all have the same physical limitations such as drop and amperage. They all have four modes of adjustment and programability.

Aside from the heatsink on the Stock Spec and TC Spec, there doesn't seem to be any difference among all three controllers.

Can someone explain what the differences are? Also if the difference is only software, can't that be changed through its software update link? In other words, can you change a Competition to a TC Spec or Stock Spec and vice versa through its software update?

I asked a similar question a while back::

There are 3 versions of the LRP SXX V2:

StockSpec is for spec racing: 21.5, 17.5, 13.5, 10.5
it gives you the maximum punch/boost profiles for those motors

The Competition version has milder boost profiles for mod racing, down to 5.0T motors.

TC Spec is for heavy duty mod racing like TC Mod and Short Course 4x4 Mod. It has similar milder boost profiles as the Competition, but it comes with a fan and can handle down to 3.5T motors.

All three versions have the stock blinky mode.

TC spec v2 is for mod racing.

You have more settings than v1
