What are you guys using as far as ESC and motor for this car?


Also,I need a good reason why not to buy this car!! Help!

I've just installed the carbon damper mount& the carbon rear body mount plate.
I've also have the roll&pitch spring set to fine tune the cars handling.
I will be testing the car on sunday

why dont they just release an "R" or "TRF" version?!? hate taken kit apart and adding hop ups!

I am thankful Tamiya are in the 12th scale game, and offering any hop-ups at all
But then I've been waiting for their return to building proper kits a long while

I would bet anything we will see a RM-01 "Pro" varient come out sometime within the next 12 months.

Also, for 1s 17.5 blinky what is a good pinion? What pitch is the spur?

I built mine yesterday... Spur/Pinion look to be typical tamiya pitch. Build was quite enjoyable and simple. I put my AE VCS shock on there for now until I order the tamiya one. Otherwise car is stock... Just missing servo, lipo and 17.5. Hoping to test it out our outdoor spot next weekend.
