SMC or Team One Hefty Cells....... i agree the fukuyamas i got in my opinion sucked... they never came close to the printed numbers on the lable... i had heard good of them so i bought some 1.17 over the counter.. 4 of them to be exact... wish i had gone with something else... they were punchy about 3 runs and after that they fell of hard.... went back to Hefty Cells....

Hate to burst your bubble but GP does NOT match batteries themselves. Theyr'e still great club racing packs though.

yep they do not.. a guy i race with had bought a bunch off ebay from them.. they were listed as 1.17+ packs...
]
he had asked my other buddy from team one if he could match them.. they were not even close to 1.17 packs..... one or two cells out of 3 paks was over 1.17.. they were from 1.14-1.17 and the runtime out of all 12 cells, wasnt even close enough to make one pack... there ok for beating around, but if your racing with them and want to have rip.. dont go that way

Brian-Yes they are GP cells and it's just a different shrink wrap.
So they are just as good as the ones in Canada,Europe or the U.S. with their color shrink wrap.

Guys when it comes to cells they have what they call Date Codes. These Date Codes mark when the cell was produced.
GP has been the MOST consistant when it comes to a battery from a manufacture for R/C.
Their runtime though as of late has dropped off from finding alot of 430-445 packs at 30 amps to getting hard to find 420+'s.

It all depends on when it was produced if one batch will be better than the next or previous batches.

We are sooooooo spoiled on batteries thanks to GP.We paid more for 1700,2000,2400 nicads and 3000 nimh than we ever have for GP3300's.Plus they are just incrediable batteries.

All the companies listed above have nice packs except for the Cheap battery place(Not Matched) and most ebay packs I would shy away from unless you know the company or seller selling them.

Goodluck Racing.I think you have plenty of choices for batteries.

Wait till EA Motorsports gets his batteries going. The motors are WICKED fast and many will expect his batteries will be too. Should be available in the next few weeks. Plus Eric's a stand up guy and will help you with anything you need.

listen to a guy who know`s (me )

i bring the following over to the uk to whoop some arse
& they perform very well indeedy
PROMATCH,KMR,SURGE, these guys go just aswell as the named brands over here & are just as good if not better, the promatch batts hold the track record at my local track(barham) in the 19t class, just finished second out of 80 drivers in stock at the carpetwars championship using KMR`s to Q 5th in the A & finish second using surge.

Looks like a few racers are plugging away
