Wink diff oil??????/

ok i got my nitrage buggy on monday ,it had a sticky oiley substance on the metal frame. first thing that i thought was the center diff was leaking so i called tamiya america and they said it was a spray that they put on the motor to keep it from getting corrosion. well i looked that the diff.oil that i had 30,000 and it was the same stuff on the frame, well i just opened my center diff. and guess what? bone dry and none in it so hopefully i caught a big problem before it happened ,my manual says put 2/3 oil in it how full should i put in there full it up or half? and is there a seal i can put on it to seal it better?

Sealing up a leaky diff is relatively simple, but first you've got to find out where the leak is exactly on the diff. Sometimes it's a universal fix, but you never know, right?

I know this sounds a little tedious, but fill up the diff according the the MFG's specs in the manual, leave it out of the truck and just keep an eye on it for a while. If you can, hang it by a string over a piece of card board for ease of cleaning after it drips and to make it easier to look at. Then gravity will tell you where the leak is based on where it's running from. If you can, post some pictures of the leak or describe it in explicit detail and I'll see what I can do for fixing it!

Kindest regards,
