First off... do you already own the Transmitter???

Novak recievers will work with just about any radio....

Futaba/Hitec are compatible...
Airtronics/Jr are compatible...

If you own Futaba and don't want to replace them then go either Futaba or Hitec.... I have a 3PK and absolutely love it... Read our little post, you learn something new each day.....

I use my synthesized transmitter(XS3) with a standard JR receiver(came with XR3) and it works just fine. I tend to use that receiver in my bashing cars since I usually dont have to worry about frequency conflicts.

The JRXS will work with any POSITIVE shift RX. That rules out Futaba and most hitec. There are some receivers out there that work with both positive and negative shift. I have a Jrxs and I know that it works with ; jr (obvious), multiplex, KO, Airtronics, Novak. That's all I have tried.
