I used 32/35's. As for Capricorn parts I recommend bring what you need. At the moment he does not carry parts for that product. He does have some Mugen, Serpent stuff, tires, fuel and other stuff.

Control Freakz Raceway is a commerical track. In order for the track to be open, Kenny has to pay people to be there. Other tracks are club run. To have a club track open all you need are a few volunteers to be there.

And have you ever seen the cost of real estate in Connecticut???

This is an excellent track, and they have been adding some things to make it better (computer monitor in the pit lane). This will be a good event.

Just do what I do - step over him. I know Matt, I'm a great guy....

I have to say - the stepping over Matt story is a great one. He is a really good Bar door stop, too.

By the way Matt - Kimbrow has the Hotel low down. We aren't gonna stay in a Hell hole like we did at the Worlds. Geezus, that place was one of the worst ever.

Talking Hotel

As for hotel info, best I've found so far is Choice Hotel's,"Roadway Inn". Its $66.60 a night for a double. Mapquest shows it to be 22 miles from the track.

Thats the problem im finding is that everything thats close is either booked or is likely to be a roach motel.

Where staying at the best Value Inn(860-774-9644) located in Brooklyn, CT 12mi from the track. Its about $110 a night for 2 beds. Very clean an nice and there's a family owned resteraunt(Reggie's) across the street that stays open late for dinner and the food is real good! There's a casion located near the track so room space goes fast in that area, Don't Wait!

I asked the same question in the Novarossi Challenge thread and this hotel was recommended.

BEST WESTERN Regent Inn
123 Storrs Road
Storrs Mansfield , Connecticut
06269, United States
Phone: 860/423-8451

Looks to be 8-9 miles away and just under $100 a night for 2 beds.

Thanks Blount. Its a bit closer but were gonna drive the extra 10 miles since its $40 cheaper a night. Six days we're talking $240 less the extra gas.
