Well, if that is the case then they are really hiding that fact. I emailed them today and asked a couple of questions. Would extra receivers be available when the KO module comes out and is there a date yet.....my answers....Receivers may not be available due to filling backorders and Feb. is still the target release date. Thanks a bunch!

Hey guys,
Don't know if this has been asked, but what will happen to the PCM radios such as the Futaba and the JR......????? Will going to this new technology totally eliminate the need for PCM technology? I would think so but, just wanted to ask.

PCM is used only for encode input signal, but the RF output modulation method still PPM(analog, not digital).

I'm looking at the database at the hobbyshop I work for. It's a direct link to their computer system where I can look up inventory and ETA.

Okay Nismo,
Inside info, way to go.
I hope the date comes true. That way I can use
it when our national championship starts.
I just sent an email to kthobbies for some more
info on international orders for one or two systems
for Futaba.
Hope they can get it at fast as you can.
Thanks,
S

Is anyone having problems with their spektums? I just installed one in my xxxs that I run on a very small technical carpet track and it seams to be very sluggish with the steering response! Almost a delayed type feeling. I would turn the wheel on my radio and it would take a second for my car to respond!

Default A guy at our track is having the....

same problem. He says it limits his speed and he has tried everything. He said when he puts his old module in it fine again. I guess you can't use a 4-cell pack either unless you use a receiver battery pack. I would figure they would have worked out the problems. Guess not.

RCknight,

I think he's using a 6 cell system in his car. He put it in a xxxs.......I think there may be a different problem to why he has a sluggish feel.

I've had 2 friends at the Snowbirds with the Spektrums and they were sluggish. They pulled them out and the car was fine after that. One even talked to a pro and they said the same thing. That's why they pulled them all out of their cars. I even over heard a pro tell a guy to take his out of his car and his troubles would be gone. I won't name any names though. But they also said it works great outdoors with no trouble. So I dunno what's up with it. I'm still gonna try one out for the Futaba when they get out since my main use will be outdoors with it.
