oh and a bit of advice, 90% of local hobby shops sell blue thunder race fuel, i strongly advise against it. most shop owners will tell you that its pretty good stuff, and it is. but once you run with a great blend like ODonnel 20% or Byron, you will never be the same.

using good fuels may cost a tad more, but engines running good fuel are typically easier to tune, to keep in tune, and to keep clean. my LHS ran out of odonnel so ive been using a bottle of blue thunder race 20 i had laying around, and after 2 tanks i had to clean the gunk out of the muffler and header! i couldnt believe how dirty it was. i cant for the life of me imagine how i used the stuff for so long. so save yourself a headache and use a good fuel. most high end fuels use synthetic oil blends, and less of it. the high tech oil blends protect your engine in concentrations as little as 8%. most cheaper fuels use much higher concentrations of more traditional oils in concentrations as high as 18%. the extra oil runs hotter and dirties the engines fast. they foul glow plugs too. so fuel definitely isnt a place to skimp

the blue thunder isnt a BAD fuel, ive used some of those too. its just not as easy going as the odonnel or byron fuels.

I personally think you should go to your local track and see what they are running/suggest. They have the experience of the track surface, so they wold know most about, and since it is your local track, you would most likely go their to race.

I would go with the TL XXX-NT then. If I were to get a gas truck, even though I am an AE kinda guy, it would probably be that anyways. Better RTR than the AE.

Yup. Go with whatever your track supports more, that way you can get more educated help if you need it from someone.

There you have it. Even B4Bomber, an AE guy, said he'd buy the XXXNT Sport because it's a flat out better RTR.

no, he said losi because thats whats more popular at the track! with spin like that you could be a republican LOL

seriously though, they are both great trucks. i would only go losi because of the amazing JR radio that you get with it.

I'd go with a Losi because of their customer support. TL has guys all over the internet who are out there just to answer your questions!

*shameless self plug*
