Any rear pin style wheel will fit, but front B4 won't quite fit as the yokomo bearing is slightly bigger on the OD. If your good enough with a dremel, you can take a poofteenth out of all your B4 hubs if you don't want to use them again with your AE cars. The AE bearing and wheel may fit, but I doubt it, as metric vs imperial.

No, they make the wing more stable, more area to hold it down, than just the pins.

I'm running 12mm hex wheels on the rear using Jconcepts B4 hex adapters and a few 5x7 shims between the bearing and the axle pin.

They go under the rear wing. They angle the wing forward for more down force on the rear.

Ran 2WD stock on weekend, and pulled 5 podiums and managed a 2nd overall for the event. Pretty happy with the car so far. A few little pre-race issues, both front axle grub screws hadnt been tightened enough, and had both wheels leave the car on separate occasions. Lucky i had a few practice laps to begin with!

Car ran faultless all day! Time to dust it off and check over for maintenance.

You could grind a little recess in the pin so that you can tighten the grub screw a little more.

Fixed the slipping problem. Seems the spring wasn't compressing fully in the ball diff. Undone and retightened, slipper nut now 2 threads deep, set perfectly now.

Bought the Yokomo / B4.1 front axles today so I can use all my old Rulux wheels on the front. Part Number B2-010FI.

Bearing fits perfect in the new DE Racing rims. also allows the nut to be relatively recessed which is a nice touch.

I'm loving this car so far, but the wear on the outdrives is ridiculous. I've had the car for about 2 weeks, running 13.5, medium bite clay, and have maybe 6 races on it. And the outdrives look like this. HPI Blitz outdrives last longer than these.

Man, that is ridiculous the amount of wear in that amount of time. I've had cars for years that are not up to that stage yet.....I'm serious.

I thought yokomo are quality products, obviously not anymore. But even the bmax4 had soft outdrives too come to think of it

Hmmm was there any grease in any of those? Ive got a bit of grease in either one, theres a bit of dirt buildup, but i guess its best to have something than nothing in there. Might have to go back to R&D to get hardened outdrives.
