That car looks great! I wonder how the car would look with a link rear end as well Could also try to run it at 180mm with that mod

If anyone is looking for an FGX with a rabbit conversion I have one for sale in the FS section. http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...onversion.html

I bought it to race an out of town race and try something new, there's no one running them here so it needs to go.

Naw 190mm would still be better as the front wing would be super wide at 180mm.

Are you guys using the rear chassis brace? For some reason to me the car just feels better without it when I compress the suspension...haven't tried it on the track like that though.

I tried running without the brace on carpet and asphalt ,and found the car to be un stable . causing too much flex more so on asphalt due to the surface being un even . on carpet my fgx would over rotate intering and at exit of the turns and sweepers ... I run that brace mounted and free and the car is easier to drive on both surfaces ..

Ran the FGX yesterday in RD2 of the UF1 Series. Temperature was up and down from 54 to 66 and back down to 54 every time the clouds covered the sun. Track was COOOOOOOLD!

Race 1 was not so good. Had a bit too much rear droop and the car was pretty unstable. Only did 46 laps with a fast lap of 11.4ish.

Race 2 was MUCH better. Only thing I did was take some droop out and the car was 100% better! Did a 50 lap run (4 laps faster than R1) and a fast lap of 10.9! FGX set the fastest lap and fastest pace at the event. I was on the fence about this car but now I'm a believer.

I'm running a McKune FGX conversion and Pit tires. I'll post my setup later today or tomorrow. I'm off to the LBGP right now!

I hope you think that it was cold in Celsius
Here in Norway we started running when it hit 3 Celsius Then you can say that the track is cold!

I'm a believer in the Exotek front lower arm brace. I got greedy trying to get into our sweeper and snapped a king pin, but no arms! The kingpin also snapped the back off the knuckle, but it was hard hit. Still loving the tire squeal.
